The Song of the Lamb, Revelation 15:1-4

April 25, 2010 Speaker: Dr. David Silvernail Series: The King’s Triumphant Return - A Series in Revelation

Topic: Sermons Passage: Revelation 15:1–15:4

Pastor Dave preaches from Revelation 15 as we continue to look at how God will deal with the righteous and the unrighteous. Dr. Dave Dorst writes about this chapter that we see here that the saints in heaven "are singing a similar song to the Israelites' after they crossed the Red Sea and God destroyed Pharaoh's army. That episode, as with many of God's saving acts in the Old Testament, was a foreshadowing of the great victory over the beast and evil. The singers speak only of the greatness of God and His acts; they never talk about their own actions or faith. In heaven, we'll fully realize just how true it is that redemptive history is God's grace and action from first to last."

It really is all of grace from beginning to end. May God enable us to grasp that truth this week.
