In the first half of Genesis chapter 18, Abraham prepares an elaborate meal when the Lord visits him. And when Yahweh announces that Sarah will bear a child, Sarah laughs to herself because she is almost 90 years old. Laughter happens when our expectations about life meet the incongruity of what really happens, and that us certainly understandable in Sarah's situation.
